We are delighted that you are considering Barnby Road Academy for your child.
As an academy, our admissions arrangements initially follow the same process as all Nottinghamshire schools. Admissions are coordinated through Nottinghamshire County Council, ensuring a fair and transparent process for all families.
Applying for a School Place
Children start full-time school in the September following their fourth birthday.
Our agreed Pupil Admission Number (PAN) is 75. This number has been agreed by the Trust and the Department for Education and means that up to 75 children are admitted into each year group, in accordance with our admissions criteria.
Applications for Reception places starting in September should be made through the local authority where your child lives. Applications for in-year transfers and other admissions can be submitted through Nottinghamshire County Council.
